It’s time to meet the 14 strangers who are competing on The Summit Australia, Channel 9’s latest reality competition series. Could you hike to the top of one of New Zealand’s highest peaks for a share in a one million dollar cash prize? It’s a brand new show, and Josh is just one of the The Summit 2023 cast members who are set to make the trek.
The Summit 2023 Cast: Meet Josh
Josh is a Melbourne-based graphic designer who’s always up for a new challenge. Enter: The Summit Australia.
Described by his friends as “a little kooky, a little zany, but loyal with a fun nature,” Josh is also a devoted father of two.
His motivation for participating in the competition is to give his children the happiest life and the best start in life possible.
“Winning this will help me give them a big boost,” Josh explained in a press statement.

Josh’s Journey to The Summit 2023
With a love for hiking and some climbing experience under his belt, including scaling peaks such as Mt Kilimanjaro, Josh is confident in his ability to adapt to the unpredictable challenges the mountain may present.
“I love hiking, it really takes us away from all the things that prop us up in life,” he said. “You know, when you’re thirsty, you go to a tap. If you’re uncomfortable, you sit on a couch, so in this environment that’s all gone. You feel alive because you have to adapt.”
Josh’s participation in The Summit Australia 2023 is a testament to his adventurous spirit and his willingness to take on challenges. But will he make it to the top? Only time will tell…
