The Summit Australia is Channel 9’s latest reality competition, which challenges its contestants to make it to the top of one of New Zealand‘s highest peaks in just 14 days. The prize is a share in the million dollar cash prize they’re carrying on up the mountain. But how many of them will make it to the end? It remains to be seen, but for now, it’s time to put faces to the names of the 14 trekkers who make up The Summit 2023 cast.
The Summit 2023: Meet Brooke
Brooke is a single mother of three and a psychology student, and now, she’s one of the contestants who’ll be trekking up the mountain this season.
As a full-time mum, Brooke is excited to finally have a chance to do something for herself.
“I’ve never had an opportunity to go on an adventure like this,” she said in a press statement. “This is my time and I’ll take every moment and do the best job I can.”
Brooke suspects her bubbly personality may lead some to underestimate her, but in reality, she’s a fighter with a positive outlook who is ready to take on any challenge.
“In life, I have a strong sense of morals, but this is a game, and I will play it hard to win the money,” she said. “I’m spending time away from my children, and winning will help us in ways you couldn’t imagine, so I’m not here to walk away with nothing.”

Brooke’s Journey to The SummitÂ

“The highest mountain I’ve ever climbed is Mount Lofty in Adelaide, but I’m not a quitter,” Brooke said. “I do not quit, and anyone who knows me will say that. Sometimes I should learn to quit, but it’s just not within me.”
Regardless of how far she makes it, Brooke said that she’s determined to do her very best.
“I’m so grateful for this opportunity, and I’m going to give it everything I’ve got,” she said. “I’m ready to push myself to the limit and see what I’m capable of.”
