My Kitchen Rules is getting a Shyamalan twist. ‘Cause three new teams have entered this competition. One team consists of two mates, Aaron and Chris, who are gunning for My Kitchen Rules fame.
Aaron is an ex-butcher who runs one of Australia’s largest BBQ YouTube channels, Low n Slow Basics. He has a deep passion for American-style BBQ and loves smoking meats.
Meanwhile, Chris is a stay-at-home dad. He’s been taking care of his twin sons since they were born prematurely.
Aaron and Chris. Do they have what it takes to win My Kitchen Rules? Will their BBQ food impress the judges? Here is everything that we know.
Aaron and Chris vs. My Kitchen Rules
According to Aaron and Chris, they have delicious signature dishes. In a media release, Aaron said that his signature dish was smoked brisket.
“It requires knife skills,” said Aaron, “and they are hard to perfect.”
What’s more, the signature dish that Chris makes is also a slab of meat. This man loves to make crispy pork belly, and apparently, it’s his wife’s favourite dish.
But do Aaron and Chris have the skills to keep cool in the kitchen? Well, they think so.
“I’m focused, composed, and manage time well,” said Aaron.
Likewise, Chris called himself a “curious cook” who “enjoys various flavours and cuisines.”
Whether or not these mates are all they’re cracked up to be, well, that is still a mystery. However, one thing is for certain. The next few episodes of My Kitchen Rules are going to be wild.
My Kitchen Rules airs Mondays through Wednesdays. It is on both Channel 7 and the 7plus app.
