If you love cooking drama and still miss MasterChef Australia, then boy, do we have some mint news for you! ‘Cause My Kitchen Rules is now on, and it’s shaping up to be a killer series.
In this first episode of this season, two best mates named Tommy and Rach put their cooking skills to the ultimate test. They made a succulent crispy duck leg with blackberry, port jus, and potato gratin. One of the My Kitchen Rules hosts, Manu Feildel, loved this dish.
When eating his duck, Manu noted that it was, “MKR on a plate.”
However, things quickly went south for Tommy and Rach, when they accidentally put garlic flowers in their dessert. Needless to say, the chocolate-coated pear ice cream with cookie crumb was a car crash.
This decision confused the other My Kitchen Rules host, Colin Fassnidge.
Colin asked them, “Did you taste everything on the plate tonight?”
Rach said no, tasted some, and then said, “It tastes like garlic. It’s a garlic flower.”

My Kitchen Rules is on Mondays through Wednesdays. Each of these days it will kick off at 7.30pm.
