Rush Australia has kicked off, and it’s the perfect show for those seeking a thrilling new reality adventure. Hosted by David Genat, Rush features 12 ordinary Aussies, divided into Team Gold, Team Navy, and Team Scarlet. The contestants face an extraordinary test as they are blindfolded and stripped of their hearing until they reach their challenge destination.
Their ultimate goal is to conquer various challenges and reach the coveted Escape Zone. However, the stakes are high, as the team that arrives last must eliminate one of their own. But for now, let’s meet Team Navy’s Tylen Wallace, one of the captivating cast members of Rush Australia who’s hoping to win the impressive $100,000 prize.
Rush Australia Cast: Meet Tylen Wallace
Tylen is Rush Australia‘s youngest traveler. While Tylen may not have witnessed much of the world, he firmly believes that his country boy charm will carry him through until the end.
“I’m here to prove that the old country boy goes alright! I’m ready to hook in!” he said in a press statement.
Tylen was born into a family of cattle farmers, and currently works alongside his dad in the family beef business. He spends his days on mustering on horseback and enduring long hours on the land.
“I try and get up around 4 am, have breakfast with Dad, and get moving,” he said. “Sometimes I don’t return home until late at night. Working on the land is incredibly diverse. You head out with Plan A for mustering, and you come back with Plan Z because everything has changed. You have to roll with it.”
Tylen’s Instagram
Tylen’s Instagram presence looks like the Happily Ever After snapshot of a Farmer Wants a Wife contestant. While he doesn’t have a wife, he is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Kate Ferling, and regularly posts photos of them together.

Aside from that, he has plenty of photos of life on the farm and competing in horse riding competitions.

Tylen’s Rush Australia Game Plan
Tylen is accustomed to excelling under pressure, so he’s pretty unfazed by the competitive nature of the show. Having proudly represented Queensland in football, playing for the Falcons in Rockhampton and the Sunshine Coast, he knows about competition, even if he doesn’t have a ton of travel experience.
Rather, he’s eagerly anticipating the thrill of visiting numerous extraordinary locations. If he manages to take home the win, Tylen intends to invest the prize money into expanding his land and purchasing a house.
But will he be successful? Only time will tell…
Rush Australia airs at 7.30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, only on 9 and 9Now. Missed an episode? Catch up on 9Now.
