Here’s Who the Farmers Chose on ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ 2023

The Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 Finale is upon us.

Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 has been in full swing, and to say it’s been successful would be an understatement. In fact, it was so successful that Farmer Andrew found love mid-season and quit the show! Now, the rest of our farmers have followed suit in the epic two-part finale. But who did our farmers choose in the Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 finale?

This season, we’ve been following  Farmer Brad, Farmer David, Farmer Brenton, Farmer Matt and Farmer Andrew on their quest for everlasting love. Unlike some of the more recent seasons, Channel 7 assured us that this year, every farmer will find their happily ever after. And boy, did they deliver.

Last week saw Farmer David and Farmer Matt visit their final two ladies’ hometowns. There, they met each of their ladies’ families, before making their final decision. Farmer David and Farmer Matt found love, and this week, Farmer Brenton and Farmer Brad followed suit, giving us five epic love stories in one great season.

Farmer Wants a Wife 2023: Who Did the Farmers Choose?

Farmer Brenton and Sophie

Going into the finale, Farmer Brenton had a tough decision to make, between Sophie and Rachel. Over the season, we saw him form strong connections with both ladies, but in the end, it was Sophie who won Farmer Brenton’s heart.

“Soph, I’ve never felt like this with anyone,” he began.

Farmer Brenton said that already, they’d made “so many memories” together, and he was looking forward to building a life with her.

“I can’t wait to take you back to the farm,” he said, as Sophie teared up, grinning from ear to ear.

“You’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met, Soph,” he declared. “I think I’m falling in love with you. That’s all I can say!”

Farmer Brad and Clare

Farmer Brad’s final two ladies were Clare and Morgan, but in the end, Brad only had eyes for Clare.

As the couple went into their final conversation of the season, though, Clare looked nervous, and as Brad began to speak, she was anxious, shaking her foot, hoping to hear what she wanted to hear.

“I feel as though we just want the same things in life, where we’re cut from the same cloth,” Farmer Brad began. “We want to have a family, and to get married, and, you know, to raise a family on the farm.”

Realising what Farmer Brad was saying, Clare let out a laugh of relief.

Farmer Brad continued, saying that he’d “started this journey in the hope to fall in love with someone”, and that Clare was the one for him.

“I’m falling in love with you, and I’m very excited about what the future has in store for us,” Farmer Brad declared. “So if you wanna give this a go, and give this crazy world a try, I’d love to see where we can end up.”

Relieved, Clare told Farmer Brad that his feelings were reciprocated, and confirmed that yes, she wanted to give their relationship a shot in the real world.

“I have fallen so in love with you Brad,” she said, laughing and crying at the same time.

The two shared a loving embrace, followed by a kiss.

Farmer David and Emily

Farmer David headed to Brisbane with Emily, where her parents asked the hard-hitting questions about his intentions for their daughter. Emily’s mum, in particular, wanted to know where David was actually at in his life, and whether he was genuinely ready to settle down.

Farmer David had also felt a strong connection with Lorelei over the course of the season, and found himself torn between the two women.

“I’m faced with the situation where I can see a pretty happy future with both the girls,” he said.

However, in the end, Farmer David realised that his heart belonged with Emily.

Farmer Matt and Olivia

For Farmer Matt, it had all come down to Olivia and Annabelle, but Farmer Matt found that Annabelle’s hesitancy to open up to him made it difficult for them to communicate.

On the other hand, Farmer Matt and Olivia have had a great connection over the course of the season, but while visiting her family in Wollongong, Farmer Matt was presented with an obstacle for their relationship: Olivia wasn’t planning to move to the farm to be with him immediately. Rather, she planned on visiting him on the weekends.

It was a revelation that surprised Farmer Matt, who’d assumed Olivia would be happy to make the move.

“If we had to do it long distance, I think that would definitely put a big strain on the relationship,” he said.

However, in the end, his connection with Olivia was strong enough that Farmer Matt was willing to take the risk.

“I think I’ve known for a while that I have fallen in love with you, and I’m really glad I finally get to say it,” he told her.

Farmer Andrew and Claire

Farmer Andrew cut his journey short after realising that he was quickly falling for Claire. He sent his remaining ladies home, told Claire how he felt, and thankfully, the feeling was mutual! He and Claire shared a kiss, and agreed to give their romance a shot in the real world, away from the lights and cameras of it all.
