Rush Australia is off and running, and we’ve already visited several stunning locations. David Genat has taken up hosting duties for this thrilling new show, which features 12 everyday Aussies. The contestants are divided into Team Gold, Team Navy, and Team Scarlet, who are in a race to reach the Escape Zone first. The last team to complete a challenge? Well, they have to eliminate a member on the spot. Brutal. For now, though, it’s time to meet Team Scarlet’s Hamish Collins.
Rush Australia Cast: Meet Hamish Collins
In the world of Rush, Hamish stands out as a contestant with a unique background. As a Christmas tree farmer, he spends his days seeking thrills through mountain biking, surfing, snowboarding, and other exhilarating adventures.
“I like to push myself out of the comfort zone and am a thrill seeker, but I’m also a bit of a nerd,” he said in a press statement. “I love to study and read, go to museums. I’ve been a tour guide in a few different places and love to talk to people, learn about cultures and history.”
Beyond his responsibilities in the Christmas tree business, Hamish holds a Masters in Business Administration and has gained invaluable experience working in diverse countries such as Panama, Columbia, Canada, and the Amazon.
Hamish’s Instagram
Aside from his Rush Australia content, Hamish’s grid is full of photos of the great outdoors. There are pics of him snowboarding, mountain climbing, kayaking — if it’s an outdoor adventure, Hamish has probably done it!
