Rush Australia is off and running, and our contestants are busy rushing from one cultural hotspot to the next. David Genat has traded competing on reality competitions for hosting duties, and is leading our contestants through the adventure of a lifetime. The show features 12 everyday Aussies, who have been divided into Team Gold, Team Navy, and Team Scarlet. At each destination, the teams have to complete challenges and make it to the Escape Zone. If they’re the last team to arrive, they have to eliminate a member. For now, though, it’s time to meet Team Scarlet’s Fiona Ruscoe.
Rush Australia Cast: Meet Fiona Ruscoe
Perth-based bookkeeper Fiona is no stranger to keeping things in order. Whether it’s balancing the books or organising her travel plans, you can count on Fiona to have it sorted.
A self-proclaimed lover of exploration, Fiona is a mother of two boys who has a passion for discovering new corners of the world. However, she acknowledges that her inner organiser may face a challenge when she finds herself in unfamiliar territory on Rush Australia.
Known for her fearlessness in the face of confrontation, Fiona values loyalty above all else. For her, finding teammates who share her adventurous spirit and will stay committed throughout the journey will be crucial in securing a spot at the finish line.

Fiona’s Rush Australia Game Plan
Despite her extensive travels, Fiona harbours a few hidden fears that she hopes to keep under wraps from her teammates.
“I wouldn’t want people to know that I can be a bit of a scaredy cat, like I don’t want to jump off a big cliff or out of a plane,” she said in a press statement.
Despite this, Fiona remains determined to prove to herself that she can compete with the younger generation and have a remarkable experience along the way.
But will Fiona make it all the way to the end? Only time will tell…
Rush Australia airs at 7.30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, only on 9 and 9Now. Missed an episode? Catch up on 9Now.
