It’s been one of the world’s most liveable cities for years, and now, it’s going to be home to The Bachelor Australia 2024. That’s right, folks! The Bachelor Australia is returning, and this time, it’s headed to Melbourne.
After years of filming in Sydney, 2022 marked a big shift for the Bachelor franchise, as it picked up and moved to Queensland‘s sunny Gold Coast. Not only that, but they gave us three Bachelors for the price of one.
We followed along as Felix Von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli embarked on their journey toward true love, and while it may not have resulted in everlasting love for any of them, we had fun along the way. That’s what counts, right?
Now, Network 10 is getting ready to do it all over again. This week, they announced that they’re doubling down on their thrice-as-nice, triple Bachelor format, with Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman set to find love on The Bachelors Season 11.

Who Will Host The Bachelors 2024?
Longtime Bachelor Australia host Osher Günsberg is back and ready to play host, cupid, and sometime-therapist to the singles once again.
“The secret with longevity in any relationship is to never take the other person for granted, and always be ready to re-invent the relationship as your needs change over time,” Osher said in a press statement.
Where Will The Bachelors Australia Be Filmed?
After a year on the Gold Coast, The Bachelor Australia has picked up and moved to Melbourne, Victoria.
“The Bachelor franchise has been filmed in some of Australia’s most idyllic locations, and this year we are thrilled to share the love with Victoria,” said Senior Vice President Content and Programming, Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Daniel Monaghan. “We can’t wait for viewers to fall head over heels for The Bachelor franchise against a whole new backdrop.”
Of the move from the Gold Coast to Melbourne, host Osher Günsberg said that just like any real life relationship, the show’s willingness to reinvent itself was key to its success.
“Taking this love story to Melbourne builds on the world-first season we have just seen, allowing us to take Australia’s most romantic dating show to places it has never been before,” he said.

Who Are the Bachelors 2024?
Our Bachelors for the year are: Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman, and they’re all ready to find love.
Wesley is originally from Brazil, and moved to Australia to study theology. Ben is an international model who’s passionate about sustainability. And finally, Luke is a former NRL player turned lumberjack who’s a hopeless romantic at heart.

The Bachelor Australia 2024 Start Date
Filming for The Bachelors 2024 is set to begin around July or August of 2023. Thus, Network 10 hasn’t confirmed the Bachelor Australia 2024 start date just yet.
Here’s what we do know. The 2023 season began airing in early January, so a January 2024 premiere could be likely. On the other hand, The Bachelors was originally set to air in 2022, but was pushed to the start of this year. It’s possible that 10 could give us a second season in 2023.
