12 everyday Aussies, three teams, nine stunning locations all over the world. Welcome to Rush Australia. Hosted by David Genat, the show plonks its contestants in a random cultural hotspot, where team have to work together to conquer challenges and reach the Escape Zone. Of course, this is a competition, and the last team to complete a challenge has to eliminate a member. For now, though, it’s time to meet Team Gold’s Saxon Gallaher.
Rush Australia Cast: Meet Saxon Gallaher
Meet Saxon, a creative director hailing from the picturesque Sunshine Coast. Known for his laidback demeanour and go-with-the-flow attitude, Saxon embodies the perfect blend of creativity and adventure.
As a student of psychology turned marketer in the surf industry, Saxon has already landed his dream job.
“Getting beautiful people in beautiful places and shooting them doing beautiful things. I pinch myself every day, I’m the luckiest dude on Earth,” he said in a press statement.
There are two distinct sides to Saxon, though — work Saxon and surfer Saxon. While he may not possess an overpowering sense of competitiveness, he thrives on the dynamics of playing games and deciphering people’s desires.
Saxon has mastered the delicate art of striking a work-life balance, which allows him to indulge in his passions beyond the office.
When he’s not immersed in his advertising endeavours, he can be found riding the waves on his surfboard or channeling his creativity into making his own music.
Saxon’s Instagram
Saxon’s grid is full of photos with his friends, as well as his many outdoor adventures, with a good dose of music, also.

Saxon’s Rush Australia Game Plan
Optimistic about his relaxed demeanour propelling him to success in the adventure that awaits, Saxon believes his go-with-the-flow vibe will prove invaluable when dealing with unexpected challenges and swift changes.
“I’ve never had an itinerary in my life, so being thrown into these situations hopefully won’t faze me too much,” he said.
But will it be enough to get him to the finish line? Only time will tell.
