The adventure of a lifetime is here, with Rush Australia‘s premiere last week. The show features 12 everyday Aussies, who have been split into three teams: Team Gold, Team Navy, and Team Scarlet. Hosted by David “The Golden God” Genat, the teams are dropped into a random cultural hotspot somewhere on the planet. From there, the race is on. They have to win challenges and make it to the Escape Zone, and fast. The last team to arrive has to eliminate one of their own. Rough. For now, though, it’s time to meet Team Gold’s Lola Calistamon.
Rush Australia Cast: Meet Lola Calistamon
Lola is an inherently adventurous person, whose love for travel has been deeply ingrained in her from a young age. As in, she caught her first flight at just three weeks old.
Born into a family of thrill-seekers — surfers, snowboarders, mountain bikers, and kite surfers — Lola’s life has been a perpetual journey of excitement and exploration. At one point, her family set sail on a boat across the Pacific, where Lola embraced a unique form of education, enjoying two years of homeschooling amidst the vast beauty of the open waters.
Guided by the profound influence of her intrepid parents, Lola has learned invaluable lessons about life. She chooses to not be burdened by the opinions of others, while cherishing her loved ones above all else. Her experiences thus far have instilled within her the strength to navigate life’s challenges fearlessly and with a spirit of independence.
Currently, Lola spearheads a thriving daycare centre, providing care and nurturing to children aged six months to nine years.

Lola’s Rush Australia Game Plan
With unwavering determination, she dismisses any underestimations that may come her way.
“I’ve got my head on my shoulders and I’m not dumb,” Lola said in a press statement. “You can underestimate me, that’s fine, but I’ll prove you wrong.”
Exploring new places and cultures holds a special place in her heart, making it her most cherished pursuit in life. Remaining undaunted by life’s minor complexities, Lola approaches every endeavour with an air of confidence, especially as she sets out on her latest thrilling adventure.
But will Lola make it to the end? Only time will tell…
