The man, the myth, the culinary legend is back. Colin Fassnidge has returned to the My Kitchen Rules fray.
Colin is a much beloved Irish-Australian chef who is known for operating restaurants like Banksia and writing books like The Commonsense Cook. This celeb has also been a judge on My Kitchen Rules since 2013.
However, this year Colin is getting a glow up. This year he’ll be co-hosting this series alongside Manu Feildel.
So, how does Colin feel about co-hosting My Kitchen Rules? He is ready to dive into a bowl full of unknown? Here are all the details we know.
Colin and My Kitchen Rules
According to Colin Fassnidge, he’s ready to host My Kitchen Rules because the contestants are bringing their A game. Colin enjoys this series when the passion is high and the food is exquisite.
“The competition is really good this year,” Colin said, “the contestants have stepped it up.”
What’s more, Colin is really enjoying the diversity of cultures that are being featured in this season. He’s keen and ready to try some new foods.
As Colin said, “I loved the cuisines from different countries. We’ve judged food from India, Australia, Lithuania, and Italy.”
Colin Co-Hosting With Manu
As previously noted, both Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel are hosting My Kitchen Rules this year. Additionally, Colin enjoys their working relationship.
“We are sort of a yin and yang,” Colin said. “We both play off each other, we know what the other likes and doesn’t like, and we don’t always agree with each other, which is a good thing.”
“I’m working with one of my best mates.”
Colin Judging With Nigella Lawson
In this season of My Kitchen Rules, Nigella Lawson is back as a judge. This is great news for Colin Fassnidge, as he’s practically her simp.
“Nigella is my homecook hero and crush,” Colin declared.
“I’m on my best behaviour when I’m around her because she’s one of my idols.”
My Kitchen Rules airs Mondays through Wednesdays. It will be on both Channel 7 and the 7plus app.
