Things are getting more and more heated on this season of The Block, and fans have their eyes glued to the screen to find out what drama will unfold next. So, of course, with a public holiday falling on the first Monday of October in most of Australia — it begs the question — is The Block still on tonight?
Here’s what we know.
Is The Block Still on Tonight?
Yes! The Block is still on the schedule despite the public holiday in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and South Australia. Sorry, VIC, QLD, NT, WA and Tasmania, you’ve had your Labour Day fun.
Tonight’s episode of the show is set to be a doozy, especially after the party debacle involving many of the female ‘Blockheads’. Tensions on the lot are higher than ever — will we be seeing the end of Leah and Kristy’s friendship in real time?

Drama aside, we’ll also be getting a look inside the master ensuites that each of The Block teams have been building, and we’re keen to hear what the duos have to say about the judges feedback. We’ve got our fingers crossed for no tears and objections — just 10s all around for effort!
Based on an episode preview, the judges seem to be very impressed with some of the designs. But who will come out on top?
