The Summit was one of the wildest series to hit our TVs this year. What’s more, it was a success, so you know what that means. It means that The Summit Season 2 is on its way, and that you can now apply to undergo its challenges.
In The Summit, 14 strangers share the goal of climbing in the alps of New Zealand in 14 days. If they all complete this task in time, they win $1,000,000, which they can divide up among themselves. However, if someone quits, a slice of this mill disappears.
Now, if this challenge seems like your cup of tea, then we have got you sorted. Here’s how you can apply for The Summit’s season 2.
How to Apply for Season 2 of The Summit
Part One: Basic Info
If you want to apply for Season 2 of The Summit, you have to head over to Cast It Reach. This website will then ask for your name, an email, and a password.
Once you submit this info, Cast It Reach will then ask for your number, street address, date of birth, and whatnot. However, it will also ask for your weight and clothes size. So just be ready for that.
Part Two: The ‘About You’ Section
Okay climbers, get ready to scale some answers. ‘Cause the second section is called “About You,” and it asks you to answer 41 questions.
The questions in this section include the likes of:
- When did you last feel lonely?
- Do you believe in God or another religion? If so, which one?
- What is your best and worst physical feature?
- If you have a partner, what is the best and worst thing about them?
Part Three: The Summit Section
In section three of this application form, it’s all about The Summit. This means you now need to have a familiarity with this series to apply.
The questions in this section include the likes of:
- What would be your motivation for winning the large cash prize?
- What is the one thing you wouldn’t want your fellow players to learn about you?
- Will you lead the group or stay in the background and follow the leader?
- If you’re at the point of exhaustion, but there’s no time to rest, what will you do?
Part Four: Survival Skillset
If you’re going to apply for The Summit’s Season 2, you need to be able to survive climbing literal mountains. This series doesn’t want you to die. It therefore makes sense that this application asks you to self-evaluate your survival skills.
The questions in this section include the likes of:
- Would you consider yourself as a strong physical asset?
- Have you had any mountaineering experience?
- Have you camped overnight in cold conditions?
- What scares you the most about being stuck on a mountain?
Part Five: The Media Section
To apply for The Summit, you have to submit a recent photo of yourself, a photo of you that reflects your personality, and an audition tape of no more than three minutes long.
When discussing the audition tape, this application notes, “Introduce yourself, help us get to know you and your personality. Use your creativity and show us who you really are. This is your one opportunity to shine, go for it!”
Part Six: The Health Section
After you submit your audition tape, it’s time to talk about your health. So, yet again, it’s time to get super honest.
The questions in this section include the likes of:
- Are you in good physical condition?
- How much alcohol do you drink, if at all?
- Are you currently vaccinated against COVID-19?
- Are you prepared to take a psychological test?
Part Six: The Legal Section
Finally. We are at the end of The Summit application. All you have to do to apply now is answer some legal queries.
The questions in this section include the likes of:
- Do you have any skeletons in your closet? For example, jilted lovers, sex tapes, unauthorised photos? If so, please tell us what they are.
- Have you ever had an adverse finding against you which may have resulted in any type of fine, penalty, order, or restriction by a Court, or by any body or Tribunal, Regulatory Authority, professional body, or similar in relation to your personal, employment, or business life?
