The Block’s 2023 Cast: Leah and Ash
Leah and Ash are a married couple from Brisbane. They have a long history of renovating properties, with their most recent purchase being a dilapidated Queenslander. What’s more, Leah and Ash even run a building company as a team.
However, not everything about The Block will be easier. Leah and Ash are leaving behind three kids. Their kids are Austin, aged eight, Marnie, aged four, and Hugh, aged two.
According to Ash, going on The Block was an chance they couldn’t pass up.
“We have just started a new business,” said Ash, “we have three kids, and we are halfway through this mammoth renovation, so why not do The Block?”
Leah and Ash: Their 2023 Block House Design
Leah has a passion for building and design. She also wants to make her Block house have a modern art and deco vibe.
“We’ve done the process of building renovations many, many times, but this is on a whole new level,” said Leah.
Meanwhile, Ash will use his building and carpentry skills to bring Leah’s ideas to life. He believes that he has the experience to win.
The Block drops on Sundays through to Wednesdays on Channel 9 and the 9Now app.
