“The Ultimate Challenge” — Why Jason Is Taking on the ‘Alone Australia’ Gauntlet

In 2024, Jason is on Alone Australia

Alone Australia might be the most extreme reality series to ever grace our screens. Not only is each contestant isolated by themselves in the wilderness, they have to forage their own dinners, build their own campsites, and survive. On top of that, each contestant must film themselves doing these impossible tasks. In 2024, 10 people have signed up to undertake the Alone Australia gauntlet, one of them being a man named Jason.

On the new season of Alone Australia, the cast are on New Zealand’s South Island. One by one, this cold and hostile location will cause these people to quit. The last person standing will win $250,000.

Does Jason have the strength and gumption to beat the rest of the cast at this high-risk, high-reward game? Or will Jason be someone who signed up to only quit early? Here’s everything we know about Alone Australia 2024’s Jason.

Who Is Alone Australia 2024’s Jason?

Jason is a proud Yanyuwa, Waanyi/Garawa man and Jungai. For as long as he can remember, he’s been camping, hunting, and fishing with his dad.

This passion for the land influenced Jason’s directory during his early adulthood. During these years, he spent a lot of time on his mother’s country, Borroloola. While at Borroloola, Jason learnt traditional hunting, fishing, and foraging techniques from his family and Elders.

Now 36 years old, Jason lives in regional NSW with his wife and much-loved dogs. He’s a youth worker who is a respected leader in his community.

According to Jason, winning Alone Australia 2024 isn’t going to be easy. However, he’s going to give this challenge his all.

“I’m an adventurous spirit,” Jason said in a press release. “There’s no room to hide in a challenge like this. The only person to blame is yourself if something goes wrong. This is the ultimate challenge a human can experience.”
