Taylor Swift Just Dropped A Surprise New Christmas Song With Home Videos

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift just completely out-Swifted herself — by dropping a brand new Christmas Song called “Christmas Tree Farm”.

The song, which debuted on YouTube and had over 215,000 views in 10 minutes, is a boppy, light-hearted ode to the most wonderful time of the year and is soundtrack to a gorgeous home videos of when Swift was a child.

The home videos showcase Swift’s family, Santa and even a very mini-Tay opening up a present with one of her first guitars and knowing that she is one of the biggest artists in the world now, it’s goose bump inducing stuff.

“I actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm,” Swift posted to her 123 million Instagram followers after the song dropped.

“In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest. Where, funnily enough, this song is their national anthem.”

During lunchtime on Friday, the 10 time Grammy winner, casually announced that new music would be dropping after “just writing” it.

“K, I know this is pretty wild but I’ve just written a Christmas song,” she told her 123 million followers on Instagram, before saying: “I feel like it’s weird to just like wait a year to put it out.”

Swift then turned to her “Itty Bitty Kitty committee”, her cats Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Swift, who, frankly (and very cutely) couldn’t care less.
