There are murders in this building. How many murders? Well, apparently a lot. ‘Cause Only Murders in the Building is back for Season 3.
That’s right, this much beloved series has returned. But when does it premiere? What’s the plot all about? Has Steve Martin been replaced by a Funko Pop? Here are the Only Murders in the Building Season 3 details you need to know.
Only Murders in the Building’s Cast
Right off the bat, no. Steve Martin hasn’t been replaced by a Funko Pop. What a wild and unsubstantiated rumour to consider!
Instead, Steve Martin has returned to reprise his role as Charles-Haden Savage. Charles-Haden’s a semi-retired actor who was famous in the 1990s.
Likewise, Martin Short and Selena Gomez are also back for this season. Short plays Oliver Putnam, an ambitious but impoverished Broadway director. Meanwhile, Gomez plays Mabel Mora, a young artist who lives in the same building.
However, the cast of Only Murders in the Building’s Season 3 will introduce some fresh faces to the mix, also. Paul Rudd’s here as Ben Glenroy, a Hollywood actor making their Broadway debut. What’s more, Meryl Streep is also playing an actor named Loretta Durkin.
Only Murders in the Building’s Plot
Only Murders in the Building’s plot centres around a murder which takes centre stage of a Broadway production. Whose murder? We spoil the deets below. But this mystery should be quite the roller coaster.
