Marvel and Disney had a fairly epic year in 2021, with the release of stellar TV series such as WandaVision, Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier along with tentpole film releases such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals.
To cap off a truly huge year, the studio saw mega-success with the release of the highly anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home which made a record-breaking USD $600.8 million in its worldwide debut. The blockbuster has since gone on to become the first billion-dollar grossing movie of the pandemic and has set and broken a tonne of box office records.
In 2022, the success looks set to continue with an exciting slate of films and TV shows gearing up to debut over the course of the year. While several titles, such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, were shuffled around in terms of release dates, there is still loads of MCU fare for fans to look forward to. Here’s what’s coming from Marvel and Disney Plus in 2022.
