It’s official: The 1990s are making a comeback. ‘Cause in 2024, a new season of Gladiators is coming to our televisions. What’s more, we now know who the two Gladiators hosts are.
Now, if you haven’t heard of Gladiators before, here is the gist. In this series, a number of permanent competitors, called Gladiators, battle against a number of one-time contestants, called Challengers. These battles consist of a series of physical tests of strengths. They include activities like obstacle course races, and aerial-based wrestling competitions
Gladiators first aired in 1995, was rebooted in 2008, and has been off the air since then. Now, the show’s fans are hyped for its return.
But back to the Gladiators’ new hosts, as this news is popping the heck off. Here’s everything we know about the Aussie personalities dishing out the challenges.
Who Are the New Hosts of Gladiators?
According to Network 10, Liz Ellis and Beau Ryan are set to head up the 2024 Gladiators reboot.
As the new hosts of the iconic show, they’ll be serving up some fan favourite activities like The Wall, Power Ball and more, to push the Contenders out of their comfort zone.
Liz is fresh off of her victory on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, while Beau is staying booked and busy with his hosting gig on The Amazing Race.
Both are extremely excited to be the new hosts of such a nostalgic series and the pair also expressed how much they loved to watch the series in its original heyday.
Gladiators is set to premiere at 7.30pm on Monday, January 15, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. Miss this premiere? Catch up on 10 Play.
