Best friends, and teammates on The Amazing Race, Malaan and Tina are both smart and stunning.
Fitness lover Malaan is an international model, studying towards a degree in business, while Tina is a senior policy advisor, with an interest in politics.
Both women were born in South Sudan, before moving to other parts of Africa as refugees and then eventually making their way to Australia, the terrain of which they cannot wait to explore during the reality competition.
Malaan and Tina have travelled internationally together and have both worked for the UN, after being inspired by their experiences as refugees to protect human rights.
The biggest challenge Tina has faced in her life was being separated from her mother and youngest sister for three years as they waited to be able to join Tina, her father and brothers in Australia. Compared to that The Amazing Race might almost be a breeze.
The impressive pair are excited to see their beautiful country through a new lens, making plenty of memories and hopefully taking home the grand prize.
