One million dollarydoos. A bunch of strangers. The jagged alps of New Zealand. This is what the 2023 cast of Channel 9’s The Summit is up against.
In The Summit, 14 strangers are challenged with working as a team to navigate some gnarly alps in New Zealand. If the whole cast makes it, then $1,000,000 in cash will be equally divided between them.
So, what’s the twist? After all, in reality TV, there’s always a twist.
Well, in The Summit, there are three twists:
- The cast only has 14 days to reach their destination.
- If someone gives up, a slice of the mill disappears.
- If the group doesn’t make it, then nobody gets a payload.
These twists and turns transform The Summit into a psychological game. If one of your teammates is slow, do you tell them to go home? Or do you give them a pep talk? Or do you go home and eat Dominos in the comfort of your own home? We know which option we’d take.
Now, Channel 9’s The Summit doesn’t just have a cast for 2023, it also has a mint host. ‘Cause the host of The Summit’s Jai Courtney. This dude has been in The Suicide Squad, Terminator Genisys and the Divergent franchise.
