The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition is set to return in October 2023, and all eyes are on Australian Survivor alum George Mladenov and his sister, Pamela.
With ‘King George’ bringing his sassy quips and quick wit to the hustle and bustle of Malaysia, Cambodia and Borneo, we have to wonder what challenges might have him stumped. Will this be the one contest he can’t talk his way out of?
Here’s what we know about the brother-sister duo starring in this year’s season of The Amazing Race Australia.
The Amazing Race 2023: Meet George Mladenov and His Sister, Pamela
George Mladenov made his name on Australian Survivor as the self proclaimed ‘King of Bankstown’. He’s known for sly tactics and master manipulation, and pulled off one of the most diabolical blindsides the franchise has ever seen while competing on Heroes Vs Villains. Still, the win has managed to elude him so far — George finished second on Brains Vs Brawn, and fourth on Heroes Vs Villains. Will King George’s luck change on The Amazing Race Australia?
Joining him is his younger sister, Pamela Mladenov — a Bankstown-based hairstylist that specialises in bridal hair. From a new preview of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition, she seems less than impressed with a few of the challenges. But, if she’s anything like her brother, we’re betting that Pamela has a few tricks up her sleeve.
“I’m the best strategic Survivor player in worldwide history,” George proclaims in the trailer.
How will he fair against 10 other teams and his sister by his side? Can they win the $100,000 for the Bankstown Women’s Health Centre?
