La Cucina + Bar does Italian just right and gives such cuisine the justice it deserves. This joint has fresh seafood, tasty greens, and bowls and bowls of A+ pasta. Better yet, it has a slathering of excellent customer service.

Nunzio’s Restaurant is located near the water at 4 Macrossan Street. It’s open from 12.30pm until 8.30pm every day of the week. If you’re keen to make a booking, click the link here.

Inside Port Douglas is a treasure. A Port Douglas treasure called Watergate Restaurant. A treasure that’s made of a multitude of feasts.

I’m talking herb marinated kangaroo loins, with a serving of cous cous salad. I’m talking blue crabs and fresh local snappers, combined into a cannelloni. I’m talking pan seared duck breast, twice cooked potatoes, truffle corn puree, a cabernet jus, all on one stellar plate.

Watergate Restaurant is open all week, from 12.00pm until 9.00pm, Tuesday through to Saturday. If you want to score a booking at this Port Douglas restaurant, click the link here.

Rattle n Hum

Woodfire cooked food slays. Therefore, Rattle n Hum Kitchen slays.

Come for a rustic aesthetic, and stay for the food. This place serves wood roasted pizzas topped with marinated lamb, field mushrooms, and feta. But if that isn’t adventurous enough for you, they also do beer battered fish tacos with Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise.

Rattle n Hum is open from Monday through until Wednesday, from 3.00pm until 10.00pm. It’s also open Friday through until Sunday. On these dates, it’s open from 12.00pm until 10.00pm or later.
