They’re a few of the many international hotels opening next year. I’m sharing more details on those hotels and seven other new properties to have on your radar here. Book your leave — these stays are all worth taking a trip around.
Regent Resort Canggu, Bali, Indonesia
Opening in early 2025, 161-room Regent Bali Canggu will feature six pools, a beauty hub and fitness centre and four restaurants, Cure by Chef Andrew Walsh, Sazon by Chef Andrew Walsh, Taru and Beach House. It’ll sit beachfront with internal courtyards throughout. Villas will have their infinity pools and decks.
One&Only Moonlight Basin, Montana, USA
One&Only is a resort brand with international locations including South Africa, Mauritius and Mexico. When One&Only Moonlight Basin opens in Big Sky, Montana in 2025, it’ll be the first branch in the US. Sitting on an 8000-hectare property, bordered in parts by Yellowstone National Park, the resort will also house a spa and ski lodge.
Six Senses London, London, UK
Six Senses London will open next year in The Whiteley London, a restored art deco emporium a few minutes’ walk from Hyde Park. It’ll house 109 rooms and suites, a social club with co-working spaces and lounge and spa with a fitness centre, indoor pool and relaxation room with vaulted ceilings.
1 Hotel Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark
1 Hotel is a hotel brand with a strong sustainability ethos. In 2025, the brand will open in locations including Austin, Melbourne and Copenhagen, a city that aims to be fully carbon-neutral. The pet-friendly property will be housed in a 17-century building near the Latin Quarter, with views of the Old Town. It’ll also feature a bar and spa.
Amanvari, Los Cabos, Mexico
Amanvari is by Aman, one of the most luxurious hotel brands in the world. Stretching along the Sea of Cortes, the hotel will adopt Aman’s signature minimalist, nature-blending design with internal courtyards, floor-to-ceiling windows and low ceilings. Guests can swim in the hotel’s infinity pool, read in its library or dine at one of its three restaurants.
Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi, Raa Atoll, Maldives
Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi will be set on 20 hectares of Raa Atoll in the Maldives. Like all Bvlgari hotels and resorts, it’ll be designed by an Italian architectural firm. The resort will have 54 rooms including a Bvlgari Villa on its island, 33 beach villas with private pools and 20 overwater villas. It’ll also house four restaurants, a bar and a spa.
Cambridge House, London, UK
Cambridge House Hotel at 94 Piccadilly in London will be a 102-room hotel in a restored Georgian mansion, built in 1764 and once home to the Duke of Cambridge and Lord Cholmondeley. Its four-level basement will accommodate a spa. The property will open in late 2025 and will also house dining venues, bars and nine members-only club rooms.
Waldorf Astoria Osaka, Osaka, Japan
Waldorf Astoria Osaka will span 12 stories of a 39-story high-rise in Osaka’s South District. It’ll feature 252 rooms, an indoor pool, a spa and several restaurants. It’s also been said the hotel will be home to Peacock Alley, the lounge and bar other Waldorf Astoria hotels are known for.
Nobu Hotel Madrid, Madrid, Spain
Accommodation Nobu Hotel is opening a handful of new European properties in 2025 and 2026, including Nobu Hotel Madrid, located in the capital city’s Cortes District. The building will take over an existing office building and also feature a rooftop bar and lounge, a fitness centre and spa and a tri-level Nobu restaurant and bar.
Patina Osaka, Osaka, Japan
Patina Osaka will open in the first half of 2025. It will sit across from the historic Osaka Castle and next to Naniwanomiya-Ato Park. The 220-room, 20-storey hotel will be the first urban property by Patina, a brand by Capella Hotel Group. Guests will check in on the top floor which houses Fusion, a social space with a bar and listening station run by a DJ.
