Orgasmic Yoga Is the Latest Self-Pleasure Trend

Yoga is a form of movement that nourishes both the mind and the body. It allows you to practice mindfulness and be truly present in the moment with your body and breath.

Now, there is a new self-pleasure trend that incorporates the techniques used in yoga but there’s no need to hit the yoga mat. Yogi Aubry Wiltcher recently took to Instagram to share how to leverage yoga techniques to create an intimate and more conscious connection with your body. This mindful masturbation should result in mind-blowing orgasms.

Taking the mindfulness strategy of yoga and applying to masturbation will help create a deeper connection with yourself and takes this act of self-care to the next level.

But don’t worry, you don’t have to be a yogi to try orgasmic yoga, says sex educator, intimacy coach and We-Vibe ambassador, Georgia Grace. You just need to follow a few key steps and you’ll be getting yourself off in no time.

“Incorporating yoga techniques into your self-pleasure practices is not about how flexible you can be, the intention is to connect to pleasure free from goals or stimuli, whilst exploring your body from head to toe with no rush or agenda,” Grace said.

“The art of orgasmic yoga is encouraging conscious breath, movement, sound, touch, dance and placement of attention to improve sexual pleasure.“

Full Body Pleasure • Your whole body has the capacity to be an erogenous zone, with the right context, touch or stimulation. Sound wild? You will have to do a bit of work to awaken your body, try this simple exercise. Choose a part of your body that feels detached, numb, or doesn't get enough love. This could be your stomach, arms, inner thigh, bum etc. Set a timer and spend a minimum of 5 mins slowly, mindfully and intentionally giving pleasure to it. Use your hands or other objects of your choice. When the timer goes, observe what you notice, feel for how sensation has changed. Imagine if we had s3x* like this? I have two workshops next week all about pleasure basics and FULL body pleasure. Head to Bite Sized Sessions in bio for deets. 📷 @solvesundsbostudio *I will now be using codes like s3x to prevent posts from being deleted

Grace’s top tips for exploring mindful masturbation are as follows:

— Blissful breathwork: Inhale and exhale deeply through your nose. Constrict the back of your throat, creating an ocean-like whispering sound.

— Engage your pelvic floor: As you exhale, engage your pelvic floor. As you inhale relax it.

— Pelvic tilts: On your inhale, tilt your hips forward, on the exhale, flow your hips back. This is like a gentle, slow hip thrust. Think cat and cow, you can do this kneeling, standing, lying down — any way that’s best for your body.

— Hip circles: On an inhale, circle your hips forward. On the exhale, release and circle them back. Start small and work your way up to bigger circles.

— Caress your body: Move your hands over your entire body, face, through your hair and intend to activate every inch with light touch. With these basic practices, start to move, breathe and touch yourself, follow the pleasure in your whole body.

— Include play: You can also practice orgasmic yoga with other people, sensual music or toys. With unparalleled flexibility and both internal and external stimuli, We-Vibe’s Nova 2 next-generation rabbit vibrator is the ideal toy for mindful masturbation.

Switching up your masturbation routine and incorporating some mindfulness can only improve the experience for the better. Enjoy!
