Have you got an insatiable sweet tooth and like to judge people while they cook? Can you also not get enough MasterChef Australia? Well, do we have some good news for you.
Introducing MasterChef: Dessert Masters, a series that takes the MasterChef Australia formula and applies it to desserts. In this season, 10 Aussie bakers, pastry chefs, and chocolatiers all compete for the title of being Australia’s first-ever Dessert Master. Oh, and one chef will also win $100,000.
One of MasterChef: Dessert Masters competitors goes by the name Adriano Zumbo. If you want to learn what he’s all about, then you’ve come to the right place!
Who Is Adriano Zumbo?
Adriano Zumbo is an Aussie pâtissier and TV presenter. He is best known for being a regular guest of MasterChef Australia, hosting Zumbo’s Just Desserts, and being a judge on Netflix’s Sugar Rush.

What’s more, Adriano has also worked with numerous culinary icons, including chef Pierre Herme and Ramon Morato.
Can Adriano Zumbo Win MasterChef: Dessert Masters?
In an Instagram post, Adriano Zumbo hinted that he would be a bit of a trickster on MasterChef: Dessert Masters.

“Cooking and competing against 9 legends from the Aussie Pastry scene is the best time to write Desserts backwards!” Adriano wrote. “Or call the park ranger for giving Koalas chocolate!”
Of the upcoming season, he teased that there would be “fun, laughs, running, lots of desserts, and no burnt fingers” in store for viewers.
While we don’t know if Adriano’s prankster energy will pay off this season, we can’t wait to see how it plays out.
Does Adriano Zumbo Have a Child?
In October of 2023, Adriano Zumbo and his partner, Nelly Riggio, welcomed a baby boy. As of writing, the name of their child hasn’t been announced.

If they are still taking suggestions, then we reckon it should be Croissant.
MasterChef: Dessert Masters is set to premiere at 7.30pm on Sunday, November 12, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. If you miss this episode, you can catch up on 10 Play.
