Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of Married at First Sight put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
Twenty singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!
The social experiment kicked off on Monday, January 30, at 7.30pm on Channel 9, and it premiered with a bang. We’re also teased some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, interstate and overseas.
But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment like we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.
For now, here’s everything we know so far about the participants of MAFS 2023.
Claire
Claire was raised in a chaotic Greek household, so it’s no surprise the bride describes herself as unapologetically loud, direct, vivacious, and energetic.
Her parents are divorced and she is extremely close to her grandparents, who are the result of an arranged marriage. Now she wants to be the one in the third generation to “make it” in love.
Claire is a self-professed tomboy and car fanatic but, despite the tattoos and rock-star vibes, there’s a softer side to her.
The 31-year-old is “all in” for finding for her soul mate to have kids and grow old with. Her ideal man is playful and sexy, someone who can match her passion and love for a deep and meaningful chat.
