With international travel still off the cards, Tourism Australia is continuing to encourage us all to Holiday Here This Year.
It’s not exactly a hard sell, considering the beautiful beaches, coastal and regional towns, mountain ranges, bushlands, rainforests and wineries sitting right here in our own backyards.
Getting around Australia is easy, too. For those with a bit of extra annual leave, an interstate road trip is undoubtedly the best way to see more of Australia, but for weekenders looking to pack in a quick escape, you can’t beat flying (just remember to offset your emissions!).
Right now, flights around Australia are cheaper than ever, with Jetstar dropping epic fares to South Australia — coincidentally one of Australia’s most-beautiful pockets.
The budget airline’s ‘See SA Sale‘ kicked off today, with the lowest of fares starting from $29 from Melbourne to Adelaide.
Tickets climb to a still very reasonable $69 from Adelaide to Sydney, and $75 from Hobart to Adelaide. There are flights between almost all Australian capital cities to SA, with the most expensive route between Cairns and Adelaide costing $129. Fares are one-way and do not include checked baggage.
Travel dates span from March through to September, so whether you’re after winter break or autumn escape, you’ll be able to make it work with your busy schedule.
In the current climate, Jetstar is allowing passengers to fly flexibly and safely. The COVID-safe measures at the airport and on board the aircrafts are designed to ensure peace of mind, while Jetstar will allow certain changes to tickets according to arising restrictions and circumstances.
Jetstar’s See SA Sale ends at midnight on Monday, 22 February unless sold out prior. Get in quick to avoid disappointment.
