Jennifer Lopez is finally going to drop her skincare routine and the secret to her age-defying complexion, with the release of her very own skincare line, aptly named JLo Beauty.
Lopez took to her Instagram account to announce her namesake brand and we don’t have to wait long at all. JLo Beauty will be officially launching this January.
“This isn’t just a passion project, it’s a 30-year dream,” Lopez wrote. “I can’t wait to share my skincare secrets with you!! JLO BEAUTY DROPS 1/1/21. [sic]”
In a promotional clip for the brand announcement, Lopez is filmed lying in water and as always, looks unbelievably bronzed and glowy. While there aren’t any details about the specific products as of yet, Lopez did accompany another Instagram post with the caption “Are you ready for THAT glow?” which could indicate that some sort of glow-giving product is on its way.
While a body glow product seems the most obvious choice, Lopez’s original caption signified that she was in fact, dropping skincare as she would soon be sharing her “skincare secrets” with us. So, we’ll have to wait and see what exactly that entails.
This is all that is currently known about JLo Beauty (bummer, we know!) but you can sign up for early access via the JLo Beauty website, which according to Lopez, will be available on December 8, 2020.
Lopez isn’t the first celebrity to step into the beauty world. In fact, just this year there has been a number of beauty brands launched by musicians including Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, Haus Laboratories by Lady Gaga and Humanrace by Pharrell Williams.
Arguably the most famous beauty line created by a musician is Fenty Beauty by Rhianna, which has one of the most popular and inclusive makeup ranges on the market. Just this year, Rhianna added a new brand to her empire with the launch of Fenty Skin — a new line of skincare which currently includes a foaming cleanser, toner serum and SPF.
