Rhianna Has Revealed the First 3 Products In Her Gender-Neutral Fenty Skin Line

Fenty Skin

Rhianna disrupted the beauty industry when she launched Fenty Beauty in 2017. Suddenly there was a brand that was inclusive and catered for all manner of skin tones, while also offering products that were effective.

And now, Rihanna is launching Fenty Skin, a gender-neutral skincare line that will go on sale around the world on July 31 (August 1 in Australia).

The line is launching with three hero products — the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, which according to Lab Muffin is a creamy foaming cleanser that produces a thick lather.

Next up is the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, which Lab Muffin describes as a gloopy viscous essence that is super hydrating. Rounding out the trio is the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturiser Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen — a chemical sunscreen that has refillable packaging.

“It really f**king works. It’s affordable,” Rihanna said of her new products in a recent YouTube video. “I made it the best possible way I can. I put the best ingredients that I could. I put my love and my heart into it.

“I’ve been living with it for quite some time but now it’s your turn to try it. You don’t have to take my word for it, you’ll get to see your results on your own.”

The range includes a number of ingredients from around the world, including Barbados Cherry, which has a personal connection for Rihanna.

“It’s a very healing ingredient, it’s a brightening ingredient and it’s also very high in vitamin C,” she said. “More vitamin C than even an orange. So that was very important for me to include in skincare because it’s something that I use.”

There was also an emphasis on eco-friendly packaging when it came to creating these products. Rihanna explains that she wanted to eliminate excess packaging where possible.

“Overall we’re using less packaging, eliminated boxes, wherever we could, we are using recyclable materials wherever we can,” she said. “And we’re also using refillable systems where you just buy the outside packaging once and from there you just keep refilling and you can recycle.”

The Fenty Skin range will be available exclusively via the Fenty Skin website on August 1st here in Oz and will be landing in Sephora Australia stores later this year.
