Best Things to do In Dwellingup
Hiking: Dwellingup is home to the Bibbulmun Track, a popular hiking trail that spans over 1,000 kilometres. The town offers several shorter trails, including the 10km Marrinup Circuit, which takes you through stunning Jarrah forest and scenic views.
Kayaking: The Murray River is a popular spot for kayaking and rafting. The river offers calm and gentle waters for beginners, while more experienced paddlers can enjoy the rapids further downstream.

Dwellingup may be a small town, but it offers visitors a range of options for food and drink. Located in the heart of town, The Blue Wren Cafe is a popular cafe offering a range of breakfast and lunch options, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. For a classic pub experience, head to Dwellingup Hotel. Craving baked goods? Try Millhouse Cafe, a converted sawmill known for its freshly baked goods, light meals, and coffee. Where to Stay In Dwellingup
Apart from three-star roadside motels and campgrounds, there are not a lot of luxury accommodation options in Dwellingup. Although, if you don’t want to brave the elements in a tent, we found a comfortable and stylish lodge to base. The Forest Trails House is completely secluded, bordered by Jarrah forest. There are three bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds and one with two bunk beds, ideal for families. The open-plan living and dining room is a great entertaining area, with a wood fireplace for cosy winter nights. The kitchen is well-equipped for short and long stays, and there are three large timber decks to soak up nature and serenity.
