Update December 18: A third woman has accused Chris Noth of sexual assault, alleging the incident took place in New York in 2010.

According to The Daily Beast, the woman met Noth when she was 18 and working as a hostess and singer at a Manhattan restaurant.

“Ava” (name changed for anonymity) said that the actor came to the restaurant multiple times while intoxicated and groped her on one such occasion. He then followed her into the manager’s office where she was retrieving her wages and proceeded to penetrate her against her will.

Noth, who has now been dropped by his agency, A3, denies any knowledge of the woman or that the incident ever took place.

Meanwhile, actor Zoe Lister-Jones, who worked with Noth on the set of Law & Order when she was in her twenties, has shared her own story on Instagram, accusing the actor of behaving inappropriately to both herself and female promoter at a New York City nightclub he owned.

“During my interrogation scene he had a 22 oz. of beer under the table that he would drink in between takes,” she wrote. “In one take he got close to me, sniffed my neck, and whispered, ‘You smell good.’ I didn’t say anything. My friend at the club never said anything. It’s so rare that we do.

“Chris Noth capitalised on the fantasy that women believed Mr Big represented. Fuck Mr Big.”

Orginal story below.

Following the worldwide release of And Just Like That... — the long-awaited reboot of Sex and the City — two women have come forward to accuse actor Chris Noth of sexual assault.

The women, one 40 and the other 31 approached The Hollywood Reporter with their stories separately and the women do not know one another. Each said that the promotion of the new series, in which Noth reprises his role as Mr Big, caused painful memories of incidents they allege took place in Los Angeles in 2004 and New York in 2015 to resurface.

Zoe’s Story

One of the women, who is using the pseudonym Zoe to protect her privacy, said that she first met Noth when she was 22 and working at a firm where he and other celebrities often did business. The actor, who was 49 at the time, obtained Zoe’s phone number and began leaving her flirty voice messages before eventually inviting Zoe to visit him at an apartment he owned in West Hollywood.

Zoe was flattered when Noth gave her a book which he said he was thinking of adapting for a film and wanted her opinion on.

When Zoe went back to the apartment to return the book, she said that Noth kissed her before moving her toward the bed and raping her from behind while she faced a mirror.

“It was very painful and I yelled out, ‘Stop!’” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “And he didn’t. I said, ‘Can you at least get a condom?’ and he laughed at me.”

After the alleged attack, a friend took Zoe to the hospital where she required stitches but refused to name the person who had assaulted her. According to Zoe’s former boss, Zoe called her later that day and told her that Noth had attacked her, however, Zoe doesn’t remember making that call.

In January 2006, she sought counselling at the UCLA Rape Crisis Centre due to having nightmares and flashbacks, as well as reduced concentration and appetite due to the alleged incident.

Lily’s Story

Also using a pseudonym, Lily says that she was working in the VIP section of a now-closed New York nightclub back in 2015 when she met the Sex and the City actor.

“I was truly star-struck,” she said. “He was hitting on me, for sure. I was flattered. I knew he was married, which is shameful of me to admit.” She was 25 at the time and he was 60.

Noth asked for her phone number and then asked her out to dinner — to Il Cantinori, which Lily recognised from the show as the place Carrie had held her 35th birthday dinner. Her friend advised her not to go, but Lily insisted it would be fine and that it was just dinner.

However, when she arrived at the time Noth had suggested, the kitchen was already closed so they sat at the bar and had wine instead. When the bar closed, Noth invited Lily to come back to his nearby apartment where he had plenty of whisky for them.

Back at the apartment, Noth tried to kiss Lily which she says she “cautiously entertained” but then he “pulled down his pants and he was standing in front of me,” she said. She alleges that he then thrust his penis into her mouth. When she tried to bring up the fact that he was married, he allegedly replied, “He said marriage is a sham. Monogamy is not real.”

The next thing she knew, “He was having sex with me from the back in a chair,” she said. “We were in front of a mirror. I was kind of crying as it happened.”

The Hollywood Reporter has reviewed texts between the pair which were exchanged in March and April 2015. In one, Noth messaged: “By the way, I have to ask did you enjoy our night last week. I thought it was a lot of fun but I wasn’t quite sure how you felt.”

Lily replied by saying, “Hmm…I certainly enjoyed your company. Great conversation. Not to go into specifics over text message, but I did feel slightly used… Perhaps this is better as a phone conversation but I can’t talk at the moment.”

Noth tried to meet with Lily again for dinner or drinks but she put him off and never met with him again.

Noth’s Response

Noth has denied the allegations, telling THR in a statement, “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross.

“The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

Peloton’s Response

Meanwhile, Peloton has removed the viral ad starring Noth from its social media accounts following the sexual assault allegations. The ad, which featured the voiceover of Ryan Reynolds, was made after the first two episodes of And Just Like That… aired, which see Noth, as Mr Big, die of a heart attack after completing a class on the exercise bike.
Every single sexual assault accusation must be taken seriously,” a Peloton spokesperson told THR. “We were unaware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to HBO’s reboot. As we seek to learn more, we have stopped promoting this video and archived related social posts.”
Peloton saw an 11% decrease in its share price following the show’s premiere.

‘And Just Like That’ Co-Stars Response

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis released a joint statement on Tuesday, December 21, in response to the claims made against their co-star.

“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” the statement, posted to Nixon’s Twitter account and SJP’s Instagram stories, said.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”
