5 of the Most Beautiful Accommodation in Burleigh Heads

Burleigh Mediterranean Resort

Stretching for 2.5 kilometres, Burleigh Beach is easily one of Gold Coast’s most popular beaches. And, in recent years, its surrounding suburb Burleigh Heads has become even more known, with the opening of destination dining, including Burleigh Pavilion’s The Tropic and Rick Shores, and a population boom prompted by city dwellers taking advantage of flexible work, post-COVID.

Fortunately, accommodation offerings within the Gold Coast in general have surged, too. Though, in Burleigh Heads, you’ll still find mostly self-serviced apartments. Still, with their resort-like setting, you’ll really feel like you’re on holiday. Ahead are a few of our favourite Burleigh Heads stays.

Burleigh Mediterranean Resort

Like its name sounds, Burleigh Mediterranean Resort brings a taste of coastal European culture to the area, starting with its whitewash, undulating building, sea-facing rooftop and three pools. Book a one, two or three bedroom apartment, and add on an ocean view to wake to the glittering, blue sea beyond. The property is directly opposite North Burleigh Beach.

Outrigger Burleigh

Outrigger Burleigh prides itself on being one of North Burleigh’s most affordable (yet still nice) accommodations. It boasts a heated pool, spa and, handy if you’ve ever visited Burleigh on a sunny weekend day and spent a good chunk of time circling around, looking for a car park, a free, underground carpark. If you’re keen to do your own cooking, it’s got a back garden with a barbecue area where you can make your own meals.

Ambience on Burleigh

Ambience on Burleigh has one, two and three-bed apartments spread across two towers. Guests can take advantage of its spa, sauna and steam rooms, full gym and 25-metre pool on its sea-overlooking terrace. When they’ve dried off, they soak up the sun on a sun lounger or cook up a meal on the barbecue facilities. Helpfully, the resort is next to a retail and restaurant precinct and has a surfboard storeroom and even visitor parking.

Burleigh Surf

Burleigh Surf is directly opposite main area beach Burleigh. A high-rise complex with 30 floors, apartments here look out onto the sea-green surf with toothpaste-white breaks. Among its facilities are two pools, a heated spa and a sauna. If you’re visiting with a group, book the three-bedroom sub-penthouse or the six-bedroom penthouse.
