Winning the true definition of “giving the people what they want”, former Hollywood “It” couple, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have reunited at the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards in Los Angeles — and the whole exchange was captured on camera.
While everyone across the globe is yelling: “We’re dying. Dead. Perished. Deceased”, original fans of the couple are now just convinced that the couple were “on a break” and will announce that they are indeed back together sometime soon.
Entertainment outlet, E!News, also managed to capture some magic footage of Pitt (who had just accepted the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his turn as Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood) in the media room, watching as his former-wife Aniston accepted the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in The Morning Show.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the SAG Awards red carpet, Aniston was quizzed about their relationship.
“It’s hysterical,” she told the outlet. “But what else are they going to talk about?” What else indeed.
During his own acceptance speech for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role, Pitt joked about his lacklustre love life.
“I should add this to my Tinder profile”, he quipped before suggesting that playing Cliff Booth was “a big stretch”.
“[It’s about] a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn’t get along with his wife,” he said.
But this wasn’t the first time this awards season that Brad and Jen had everybody in a tizz about a reunion.
The pair were spotted breathing the same oxygen at the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Pitt was quizzed about their relationship.
“I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend. Yeah,” the 56-year-old told ET’s Kevin Frazier.
“The second most important reunion of her year? I understand,” he joked, before saying: “That was a play on Friends. They were saying that.”
The most important reunion, Brad. The most important reunion.
Dreams really do come true in 2020.
