Its warm ambience and prime location make it a go-to choice for those seeking a night out with friends and family. Rafi, North Sydney

Looking for something more casual? Rafi is a multidimensional venue offering a semi-alfresco glass house named The Arbor, which wraps around an outdoor tree-lined terrace. The inside is dressed in fresh pastels, marble mosaics, and terracotta tiles. The Australian-Mediterranean cuisine is the cherry on top. There’s a pocket-sized dining room with the option of a banquet menu, making it easy to feed the group.

Mimi’s, Coogee

Mimi’s by hospitality group Merivale is known for its arched windows framing Coogee Beach. The menu here is Mediterranean, featuring lots of seafood. Think potato ravioli with sea urchin sauce. The private dining room is big enough to seat 18 and comes with its own bespoke shared menu. The colour palette makes it a popular choice for any coastal-inspired gathering.

The Apollo, Potts Point

Do you want a party atmosphere with good food? The Apollo is a prime example of humble fine dining. The dishes are critically acclaimed, but the atmosphere is casual and inviting for couples or big families. The Chef’s Table room seats 12 and can be booked for lunch from Fridays to Sundays or dinners any evening of the week. The full restaurant can also be hired for exclusive use for up to 80 people.
