Australian Survivor 2024 is on its way, and finally, we know a little more about what to expect. The fan-favourite reality competition series is set to return in early 2024, and this time, they’re introducing an all-new theme. Get ready for Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels.
“What is a Titan?” you ask. “What makes for a rebel?” And maybe, “Is this just Champions Vs Contenders with slightly different words?”
They’re valid questions! According to Network Ten, “A Titan is someone who has achieved a great feat against all odds. The Rebels love to go against the game, sticking it to the man.”
… We’ll let you make your own assessment on that last question. Still, we’re EXCITED, and we can’t wait for the new season to kick off.
As a festive season present for us Australian Survivor fans, Network Ten dropped the first look promo for the new season, and it’s everything we could want.
With the recent announcement of the 24 Castaways who will be competing for the title of Sole Survivor on Australian Survivor this year, we now know that Titans Vs Rebels will be an all-new cast of players. It’s the first all-new cast of contestants since Brains Vs Brawn back in 2021, which is exciting!
One familiar face we can expect to see, of course, is Jonathan LaPaglia, who’s set to return as host for Australian Survivor 2024, and we couldn’t be happier about that!
Where Was Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels Filmed?
Like the 2016 season of Australian Survivor, as well as this year’s Heroes Vs Villains season, Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels was filmed on the sunny beaches of Samoa.
The 2023 season marked a return to international filming, after two years of COVID-induced border restrictions forced production of the Brains Vs Brawn and Blood Vs Water seasons to be filmed in Queensland.
When Will Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels Premiere?
Mark your calendars! The new season of Australian Survivor will premiere at 7.30pm on Monday, January 29, 2024. In its first week, it will air on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. From week two onwards, you can catch it on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday each week.
Where to Watch Australian Survivor
Once it premieres, Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels will be airing on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. If you can’t wait for the new season, you can always head over to 10 Play and rewatch past seasons of Australian Survivor.
