With many rowing machines costing several thousand dollars, adding one to your home gym might not be financially viable — and for good reason.
As always, Aldi has come through. In its latest Special Buys catalogue, Aldi is selling a whole host of workout goodies including activewear, foam rollers and resistance tubes.
The pièce de résistance of this Special Buys drop is the Air Rower for $349. It comes with eight levels of air resistance and has an in-built computer that tracks your strokes per minute, distance, calories and time.
Rowing is great for cardiovascular health and works all of the muscle groups in the lower body, upper body and core. If you’re still not convinced, Aldi has created a nifty video that lists all of the benefits of the Air Rower.

For more compact workout equipment, Aldi is also selling a Sit-Up Bar and a Door Gym, which cost $7.99 each. Both pieces of equipment attach to the door, with the Sit-Up Bar acting as a spotter for abdominal exercises.
The Door Gym uses a cable and pulley system that has two handles. You simply secure it to the door and it allows you to maximise your workout thanks to the added resistance.
There is also a Resistance Tube Set and 3-in-1 Foam Roller for sale if that’s more your speed. There’s also a bunch of activewear featured in this Special Buys drop, including a moisture-regulating Women’s Fitness Jacket for $19.99 that comes in two colours — black or berry.
For under $20, you can also get your hands on Men or Women’s Lightweight Gym Shoes ($19.99), Adult’s Compression Tights ($14.99) and an Adult’s Seamless Long Sleeve Top ($9.99) in a variety of colours.
These items go on sale in-store at Aldi on Saturday, June 13. As Aldi is always in demand, make sure to get up bright and early on the day if you want to snap up any of these bargains.
