YCK Laneways is Throwing Together a Six-Week Food and Drink Festival

yck laneways intersections festival

Almost a year after Sydney’s best bars joined forces, YCK Laneways is back with a six-week festival, which will see a collision of food and cocktails, community and creativity come to life.

The YCK Laneways Intersections festival is bringing together a trio of celebrity chefs including Manu Feildel, Anna Polyviou, and Luke Hines to design a unique series of dishes on offer at participating YCK venues.

Titled Chef’s Selection, hungry punters can expect Luke’s famous loaded sweet fries with lime guac and cashew sour cream, a serving of Manu’s Hervey Bay scallops with XO butter and a fun spin on Anna’s iconic cookie dough dessert.

In the spirit of collaboration, YCK will take over Barrack Street once again for a new instalment, Master the Art. Taking place between April 22 to 24, a series of masterclasses will enliven this iconic address—from learning how to craft the perfect cocktail with world-class bartenders from Maybe Sammy and Cantina OK!, to oyster shucking with Sydney Oyster Farm Tours— there’s something to suit every appetite.

After a day spent with some of Sydney’s cocktail extraordinaires and culinary masters, stick around for three epic nights of live music with Barrack Street headliners including dance sensation Sneaky Sound System, singer-songwriter Wafia and upcoming Brisbane rapper Day1.

Plus, if that wasn’t enough to get you firing up the group chat in anticipation, your favourite YCK bars are putting on a dynamic line-up, with over 100 events happening over the six-week period. Wander through the precinct and enjoy live music, epic dance parties, magicians, caricatures, jazz performances, tarot readings, and more.
