Dylan Lewis Is the Winner of ‘I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!’ 2022!

The first reality show of 2022 has come to end, and to say we’re going to miss spending time in the jungle is an understatement. We watched and got to know the contestants of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! and tonight marked the grand finale where the King of the Jungle was crowned.

Coming out on top in a public vote against five other celebrities, Dylan Lewis took home the title, but that’s not all. Lewis received a whopping $100,000 for his charity, Lifeline. In the end, it came down to him and Brooke McClymont, and while the decision rested on the Australian public, it definitely was not an easy one.

After he was announced as the winner of 2022’s season, Lewis first hugged Brooke before running over to his family and giving them a warm embrace. His wife Holly, and children Rose and Jethro were present and watched over with pride and a tear in their eye.

Dylan cemented himself as a fan favourite early on, when he faced every gruelling task head-on. This year, we saw the celebrity contestants jump out of planes, stick their hands in some questionable boxes and compete in tucker trials just to name a few. But in the process, each person won the hearts of those watching at home.

Maria Thattil came out as bisexual and Beau Ryan gave an emotional farewell as he bid goodbye to the jungle. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but it changed each of them for the better.

“The jungle is, I can’t even explain it, it just changes you. The bond that you create with these amazing people, the things that you talk about, the challenges that you do, you kind of come out of there (and think), ‘I can do anything’,” former MAFS star and I’m A Celeb contestant Davina Rankin told POPSUGAR Australia.

“Even when I was gardening the other day, I just picked up a grasshopper and moved it, no worries. So you come out of it thinking, ‘I’m a bid of a bad bitch. I can handle things that I never thought I could’.”

Congratulations to Dylan Lewis!
