Sad to find there’s no MasterChef Australia on tonight? Don’t worry, us too. But there’s not long to wait to find out who will make it to the finale. On Sunday 11 July, will be the semi-final service challenge where we will see one more contestant leave the competition ahead of the grand finale.
In last night’s challenge, the final four contestants fought it out for a spot straight through to the grand finale. The challenge consisted of two rounds, the first involving cooking a dish either inspired by a ruby or emerald. Pete and Elise both choose the emerald while Kishwar and Justin choose the ruby.
The winner of the emerald dish is announced as Pete while the winner of the ruby dish is announced is Kishwar with her Ruby Chicken. Pete and Kishwar then battle it out to create a dish inspired by a pearl. Pete creates an oyster inspired dish, drawing inspiration from his wife’s love of oysters while Kishwar goes for a dessert full of tropical flavours.
While both dishes receive praise from Jock, Melissa and Andy, it is ultimately Pete who is chosen as the winner and secures the first spot in the grande finale.
With Pete straight through, Elise, Justin and Kishwar will go head to head on Sunday to battle it out for a spot alongside Pete for a chance to be crowned the winner of MasterChef Australia 2021.
So who will come out on top? We’ll have to wait on Sunday night to find out. And to get all of the details on when the MasterChef grand finale airs, you can find out here.
MasterChef Australia Continues Sunday At 7.30pm. Only On 10 And 10 Play On Demand.
