Don’t let 19-year-old pocket rocket and Big Brother housemate, Sarah McDougal, fool you — she’s as tough as you can get.
The Regimental Sergeant Major with the Australian Army cadets may be 4 ft 8, but she has loads of personality, passion and positivity.
McDougal grew up on the poverty line in a family of seven and from a young age has held multiple jobs to help support her family.
Despite the hardships she endured, McDougal is the very first family member to reach university where she is studying Criminal Justice and Psychological Science in addition to Law and Business studies.
Her upbringing has given her the gift of a positive outlook and hopes that it will come in handy in the Big Brother house — however, she doesn’t think she will cope with anyone who tries to undermine her intelligence or motivations.
The youngest housemate of 2020, she’s eager to show that age ain’t nothin’ but a number, and prove that young people can be respectful, hard-working and motivated.
If she were to win, McDougal would put a deposit in a house and work on a youth development organisation for disadvantaged teenagers.
