If you want to make an entrance on The Bachelor Australia, then you darned well better turn up in a full colourful dance costume — spirit fingers and all.
That’s what 26-year-old Nicole Campbell did and our Bachelor, Locky Gilbert, was hooked.
Campbell, also managed to get Gilbert dancing, a mean feat since he admitted he hates it, ultimately awarding her with “the triple-threat rose”.
In an Australian first, the Sydney-local was given the opportunity to spend not only a one-on-one date with Gilbert but a guaranteed spot on the next group date and additional time at The Bachelor mansion…i.e. next door.
But who is the lady that captured Gilbert’s attention almost immediately?
In case you hadn’t noticed, Campbell is a dancer who used to work for Princess Cruises, had a commercial contract in Manila, Philippines and also has worked in LA.
According to the Daily Mail, Campbell had an almost career-ending ankle roll in 2019, which saw her have an incredibly “tough year” and “multiple breakdowns”.
The dancer was not able to perform for eight months as she had to undergo physiotherapy for the multiple torn ligaments.
Campbell is now a dance instructor at Sydney’s Classique Dance school and also instructed on Sydney’s Central Coast and is represented by Dargie Entertainment.
