Areeba Emmanuel is a “boss” and she’s not afraid to tell you about it.
If The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert is looking for someone to take the reigns, then he should look no further than Emmanuel.
“I’m a boss at work, a boss at home and I’m a boss with my relationships”, she explains, before telling Gilbert: “I hope you like bossy girls because I’m all that!’ she later tells a stunned Locky.”
There are many layers to this bachelorette hailing from NSW. She’s an animal lover (with her own pet German Shepherd), a devout Christian and she’s a professional wrestling fan (whatever that means).
According to Daily Mail Australia, Emmanuel is of Pakastani descent — prompting Bachelor in Paradise contestant, Sri Lankan born Niranga Amarasing to relay his support to her.
“The best advice I can give is to keep your friends close and your enemies closer throughout this experience, Areeba,” he said during an Instagram Q&A. “Go enjoy your time, but if you need any help, reach out. I’ll support you where I can.”
Not much else is known about this strong, independent woman, however, if her Instagram profile is anything to go by, then we know she’s got a story to tell.
“A woman is like a teabag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water,” she wrote in her profile.
