If you need a feel-good watch after a long day or to something to replace your Sunday scaries with positive vibes, The Masked Singer 2023 might just be the show for you.

Never heard of it? Well… let us explain. The popular Network 10 reality show is a colourful and elaborate guessing game that’s also a wild singing competition.

Here’s how it works: 13 celebrity contestants will perform some the world’s favourite songs for a live audience, while fully costumed from head to toe. They mustn’t give out any clues that could reveal who they are.

This year’s Masked Singer 2023 panellists — Mel B, Chrissie Swan, Dave Hughes (aka Hughesy) and Abbie Chatfield — have the joyous task of guessing which Aussie personality is behind each disguise. The audience and the judges will then vote and select their favourite singers to proceed to the next round.

On the other side of voting, performing and guessing — The Golden Trophy awaits The Masked Singer Australia’s winner.

On this upcoming season, the panellists will need to reveal who’s behind these 13 costumes;

  • Fawn
  • Space Fairy
  • Blue Bottle
  • Tiny
  • Cowgirl
  • The Captain
  • Orca
  • Crash Test Dummy
  • Snow Fox
  • Burger Gal
  • Bouncer
  • Bad Avocado
  • The Grim Reaper
