‘The Real Love Boat’: Will Tyler Meet Her Soulmate at Sea?

If you love love, if you love sexy singles, if you love glamorous European destinations, boy, does 10 have a show for you.

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and to be honest, we’re into it.

The Real Love Boat takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see our contestants travel the seas — visiting picturesque locations in Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro along the way — as they search for a lasting love match.

One of the ladies looking for love aboard the Regal Princess is Tyler Grayling, a 23-year-old digital strategist from Sydney.

Describing herself as “chronically single” in a press statement, Grayling has never been on a date before, and she’s now hoping that The Real Love Boat will change all of that for her.

Grayling is hoping that her lack of prior dating experience won’t be a deterrent for the others on board, and that they’ll be attracted to her fun personality.

“I am just a lot for people to get used to,” she said, when asked why she’s still single. “I can be such a chameleon, with a million sides to me.”

Describing herself as “high energy… dorky and loud”, Grayling’s dream date would feature a fun activity like mini-golf or go-karting, and hopes there’s someone out there who will match her vibe.

Aside from fun vibes, Grayling is looking for “open communication, honesty, banter, and charisma” in a partner.

“Honestly… I just want to be their best friend, their confidante, their therapist and their soul mate,” she said.

Hosted by Darren McMullen, The Real Love Boat also features Cruise Director Hannah Ferrier — who Bravo heads will recognise from Below Deck Mediterranean — as well as Head of Entertainment Daniel Doody, and Princess Cruises’ Captain Paolo Arrigo.

Will any of our singles find love and never let go? Or will it be a titanic disaster? Only time will tell.

The Real Love Boat airs at 8.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
