‘The Real Love Boat’: Will Josh Find True Love on the Regal Princess?

If you love love, if you love sexy singles, if you love glamorous European destinations, boy, does 10 have a show for you!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and to be honest, we’re into it!

The Real Love Boat takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see our contestants travel the seas — visiting picturesque locations in SpainGreece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro along the way — as they search for a lasting love match.

One of the singles hoping to find love on the Regal Princess this year is Josh Hack, a 28-year-old adventure co-ordinator from Tweed Heads.

For Hack, his dream partner would be “super cute, playful, funny and loveable,” per a press release from Network Ten.

“My last relationship was just over a year ago,” he said. “We met though friends. It was a beautiful relationship, but in the end we were just two very different people.”

They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and for Hack, that’s very much the case — he’s also very into foodies, as well as women who have good taste in music.

Describing himself as “outgoing, bubbly, caring, well-travelled and loving,” Hack said that his dream date could be any number of things, from something adventurous, to “anything with yummy food, or any art-like activity”.

On the other hand, he does have a few deal breakers that he can’t tolerate from someone he’s considering a relationship with.

“I don’t like closed minded people, and I don’t like people who have massive egos,” he said.

As for himself, he’s mildly concerned that his high energy personality may be a little off-putting for any potential love interests that cross his path.

Hosted by Darren McMullen, The Real Love Boat also features Cruise Director Hannah Ferrier — who Bravo heads will recognise from Below Deck Mediterranean — as well as Head of Entertainment Daniel Doody, and Princess Cruises’ Captain Paolo Arrigo.

Will any of our singles find love and never let go? Or will it be a titanic disaster? Only time will tell.

The Real Love Boat airs at 8.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
