‘The Real Love Boat’: Is Daniel About to Meet the Love of His Life?

If you love love, sexy singles and glamorous European destinations, boy, does 10 have a show for you.

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and to be honest, we’re into it!

The Real Love Boat takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see our contestants travel the seas — visiting picturesque locations in SpainGreece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro along the way — as they search for a lasting love match.

One of the singles hoping to find his love match this season is Daniel Goodburn, a 25-year-old distillery manager from the Gold Coast.

Describing himself in a press statement as “loyal, honest, funny, energetic and kind”, Goodburn is hoping to find someone like-minded on board the Regal Princess.

Having been in two previous relationships, Goodburn is also hoping to meet someone who’s driven, patient, and family oriented, as he feels pretty ready to kick off the next chapter of his life.

While he feels that he has a lot to offer a potential partner, Goodburn is hoping to woo his future love with acts of service. As a big, tall man, Goodburn promises he can: reach things in high places, open jars and… break into spontaneous dance for the enjoyment of all around.

“I’m fun, caring and like making the most out of my life,” he said. “But most importantly, I want everyone around me to make the most of and enjoy their lives too.”

Those who will not be blessed with an interpretive dance routine of their very own, however, are rude people. That’s a dealbreaker for Goodburn, as are entitled people, and “those people that just generally make you want to stick a fork in your eye.”

While Goodburn may be hoping to find the one aboard the Regal Princess, when it comes to his celeb crush, he’s not in the mood to settle down just yet.

“Ana de Armas… or Jessica Alba… OR Denzel Washington,” he mused, adding: “and Chris Hemsworth’s arms of course.”

Hosted by Darren McMullen, The Real Love Boat also features Cruise Director Hannah Ferrier — who Bravo heads will recognise from Below Deck Mediterranean — as well as Head of Entertainment Daniel Doody, and Princess Cruises’ Captain Paolo Arrigo.

Will any of our singles find love and never let go? Or will it be a titanic disaster? Only time will tell.

The Real Love Boat airs at 8.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
