‘The Real Love Boat’: Wellbeing Coach Ben Is Looking for Love

real love boat 2022 ben

If you love love, if you love sexy singles, if you love glamorous European destinations, boy, does 10 have a show for you!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and to be honest, we’re into it!

The Real Love Boat takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see our contestants travel the seas — visiting picturesque locations in SpainGreece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro along the way — as they search for a lasting love match.

One of the singles who’s searching for love aboard the Regal Princess is Ben Milne, a 39-year-old wellbeing coach and speaker from Queensland.

Milne has recently returned to Queensland after living abroad for many years, but he’s hoping that setting sail may put him on course for true love.

Given that he speaks professionally for a living, Milne is all about making deep connections with a good chat.

In a press statement from 10, Milne said he was looking for a partner who’s ambitious, confident, comfortable in her own skin, and doesn’t take herself too seriously.

Having been in long-term relationships that didn’t go the distance in the past, he’s hoping that the once-in-a-lifetime chance at finding love on The Real Love Boat will be the gamechanger he’s looking for.

In fact, Milne said that the reason he’s still single was because after the end of his last relationship, he needed a little break from dating.

“I wanted to take time out for myself again, after my past relationship,” he explained.

Milne considers himself a “what you see is what you get” kinda guy, and hopes his honesty-is-the-best-policy approach isn’t a complete dealbreaker for the ladies on board.

Describing himself in five words, Milne said that he is “affable, gregarious, driven, genuine and adventurous”.

As for what he’s bringing to the table romantically, Milne promised any future partners that he’d offer “a sense of fun, adventure, and loyalty!”

Hosted by Darren McMullen, The Real Love Boat also features Cruise Director Hannah Ferrier — who Bravo heads will recognise from Below Deck Mediterranean — as well as Head of Entertainment Daniel Doody, and Princess Cruises’ Captain Paolo Arrigo.

Will any of our singles find love and never let go? Or will it be a titanic disaster? Only time will tell.

The Real Love Boat airs at 8.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
