Fans have spotted a few hints in a trailer for the upcoming season of The Masked Singer.
The Space Fairy’s performs “Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)” by Blu Cantrell leaving a look of awe and delight on Chrissie Swan’s face.
It also leads judge, Dave Hughes to say that the green suited contestant is “one of the best singers to be on any series of the The Masked Singer”.
In the comments of the trailer’s Facebook post, fans of the show are throwing around their hypotheses and even sparking debates about who’s inside the costume.
Looking at the clues, some are guessing that it’s beloved national treasure, Jessica Mauboy, while others suspect that it’s “Dance Monkey” singer, Tones & I.
Jessica Mauboy rose to fame in 2006 as the runner up of Australian Idol Season 4. Since then, she has continued her singing career and acted in several films. Currently, she’s a coach on the 2023 edition of The Voice Australia.
Tones And I is an indie pop singer-songwriter and producer from Victoria. Before reaching 10 billion worldwide streams on her song “Dance Monkey”, the now 25-year-old artist found her start in the industry busking in Byron Bay. More recently, she’s released her new album, The Greatest, while continuing to work on new music.
